No, this post is not about Sen. Landrieu of Louisiana.
Did you know that some people propose destroying hurricanes with nuclear weapons? Neither did I.
Check out this article from NOAA. The article gives an explanation why using nukes is not a good idea. I find it amazing that such an explanation is even necessary.
Sort of the ultimate petard-in-a-whirlwind story.
